Games for Windows – LIVE Beta

One of the areas I’ve been spending a lot of time on over the last year is Games for Windows – LIVE (once known as “Live Anywhere” or “Live on Windows”). As I’ve written before, I’m actually pretty hyped about the long-term potential of where this can take the game industry (overly-dramatic as that may seem). Here’s your chance to sign up for the beta and check out the very first stages and give us your input! Definitely tip of the iceberg, but man… there’s a lot of ice under that water. Smile

    Tried to register, but the registration at Connect isn’t working.

    Give it a bit of time and try again later… lots of beta programs run through Connect, so I know it’s being worked on.

    It worked for me, when are we likely to find out if we’ve been selected for it?

    I’m not sure… and I don’t think I could say if I did know. Sorry! I can say that they don’t post this sort of thing until they’re getting near the point that they’d like people banging on it… so you won’t be waiting six months or anything.

    It’s about friggin’ time my membership in the MGS beta turns something up. I’ve been in it for a year and this is the first invitation to anything I’ve gotten.

    I registered yesterday.  I can’t wait for more details on the Live Anywhere service… hope I’m accepted!!

    It worked now. It didn’t even go through the Connect registration. It must’ve worked earlier, but failed when trying to forward me.

    When are we going to see LIVE on our cell phones?  That is what I am waiting for!  I can’t access anything on my PC at work, but my cell phone I would be able to use…
