My Wii Code

My Wii code is 1257 8366 1810 0392. Please feel free to add me and send your little Mii's on over to visit!

You probably already know my Gamertag.

And for what it's worth, I just picked up my own US PS3, and indeed, will forever be known as Ozymandias in the land of the Playstation network (or at least as long as my account doesn't disappear under mysterious circumstances). Smile Still nothing to play on it except Resistance, but hey – Motorstorm isn't that far off. I'm not convinced it's $600 of goodness, but it's worth it for me to keep an eye on the system's evolution.

    Cool, my Wii code is 0849 5017 2923 4632.  Honestly, I love the Wii, but the whole Wii code thing is a little annoying, considering you need to exchange your 16 digit  code when you can’t even remember it.  Because of this, me and some friends I see everyday aren’t on each other’s list.  For this reason, I think the Wii is fun, but the XBox 360 wins for online play and community.

    Damn man, I could have sworn you said you were going to hold off on the PS3 for a while. I’ll be holding off for a way long time until they get Kingdom Hearts 3 and possibly that Final Fantasy game.. even then though I would have absolutely NO reason to do that if MICROSOFT would get square out of Sony’s rears.

    Come on, open up those pocket books and take away the last few things they have left :OP

    I just got back my PS3 today so I’ll add you to my friend’s list.  Had to send it back to Sony because these weird blue graphical artifacts were popping up on the system.  Gave them a call and Sony said the system was defective.  It only took three days to get the system back.  Very fast turnaround.

    Hi OZ,

    Please post your review on Resistance. Specifically your experiences on Multiplayer. Can you really play with 40 players or does the lag get too severe over 16 players? How is the voice support…etc.

    Yeah, guilty. But I came across one just sitting there and wanted to play with a US model – figured some of the weirdness I’ve seen might be because of the Japanese model. Trust me, it’s not for the games (yet).

    Wow, all those critical PS3 reviews and you went and bought one. That is a LOL moment.

    I suppose it could be tempting, but for me I cannot see ANY reason to pay that much for it other to say that you have one.

    I am totally unbiased on all the consoles. I am really enjoying the 360 and look forward to getting a Wii. But the PS3 just doesnt offer anything I actually think is new or fun.

    I live in the UK so wont be seeing PS3s for a while. I honestly couldnt care less.

    Joseph, why be happy with just Blue Dragon when we could have that and square games?? I want Blue Dragon bad but it doesn’t stop me from loving square’s RPGs as well.

    Oz, I’m suprized you found one just "sitting there". Didn’t think that would be happening for a while. Congrats I guess though, at least now when people call you biased you can go Hey freaks, I own a PS3, shut up! lol.

    With an entire support system only supporting about 400k consoles (compared to millions of other playstations, xboxes, gamecubes, etc.), that isn’t exactly a surprise. ;)

    Funny story – this actually happened twice. The first time was about a week ago when I was looking for Wiis. Ended up at a Fred Meyer (Target/Walmart Clone) in Redmond asking about them in the electronics department. Clerk sort of looked at me and sighed, said they were completely out, but would I like a PS3? He pointed, and right behind me on the bottom locked shelf were four PS3s – two 60 GB, two 20 GB. Said no one wanted them, kept driving the staff crazy asking for Wiis. ;)

    Didn’t pick it up because I couldn’t justify it – especially since I had the Japanese unit. Picked up the new US one just because I have to return the Japanese PS3 and I want to keep a pulse on what the system updates are doing. Sad, eh? (That said, Motorstorm is wicked fun – can’t get here soon enough!)

    Funniest story? I’ve had a few folks email me claiming I didn’t really buy a PS3. ;)

    I didn’t seem to enjoy the Motorstorm demo as much as everyone else did.  I found the Formula One demo to be more fun and enjoyable.  Sony really needs to add rumble because when playing games on the PS3, it almost feels lifeless.  I didn’t think something so subtle would affect me so much personally.  :/
