Planet Earth Inversed

Just thought this was pretty darn cool. It’s a vision of a reversed Earth (with land being water, and vice-versa) from a design group called VladStudio. Hit the link if you want different-sized wallpapers of it (though some of the higher-res ones require payment).

Shouldn’t they technically be lakes, instead of oceans?

    :-P

Is it just me, or does anyone else want to play Civ on this map? ;-)

Man, I hadn’t even thought of Civilization on that map… good call!

Ozy, how is it you have a Gamerscore but no games played?

Re: "Ozy, how is it you have a Gamerscore but no games played?"

I’ve currently got it set private because I occasionally look (for work) at some early titles that publishers may not yet have announced. Since it’s their content and priviledge to announce, I (and other Microsoft employees in the same place) hide what we’re playing. Hoping to turn it back on again in the future!

A really awesome website for desktop backgrounds, and one of the most Dugg (digg.com) websites on the internets!

That is really cool. It reminds me of the maps that show south america on top of north america to give a different perspective.
