Two More Great Adventure Game Maps
First, a hand drawn Myst map. Spent way too much time in this world – probably one of the last, great, classic adventure games.
And then a map I’ve never seen before – an incredible map/poster of Zork II. I’d kill to have a copy to frame and hang on the wall, but it looks like I’m about 20 years too late. Anyone have any leads on finding this? I’ll be forever grateful!

These are awesome! Thanks for the flashbacks. :) I still have a big sheet of graph paper that I mapped out Ultima 3 on when I was a kid… I used to love that kind of exploration in adventure games!
There’s something about drawing out a map of a game.
It’s almost a game in itself. It’s a good feeling when you complete the map and everything fits.
I’m pretty sure the Myst one is from the official player’s guide from Cyan.
After doing a websearch i believe that Zork poster is spoken of here:
At Last, a Zork II Poster
Pier Giovanni Binotti is an Italian artist who fell in love with Zork. In the Italian tradition, he expressed his love with a beautiful work of art which he is making available to the world through the Zork Users Group. This 22" x 28" poster encompasses the entire geography of Zork II: The Wizard of Frobozz. The illustrations are exquisitely detailed and blend together to form a stunning piece of work.
This is a poster any Zork lover would be proud to own. (Since the poster reveals solutions to certain problems, anyone who hasn’t completed Zork II may want to wait.) You’ll have to see it to believe it.

That group is now closed, but you could maybe try this email addy at the bottom of the page.

I am starting to believe that the map/poster is quite rare.
Thanks for the research! I found several of the New Zork Times online myself, as well as the name of the artist. Unfortunately, I can’t find anything beyond that.
I couldn’t find anything, but try asking Mike Dornbrook….
